European Cultural Foundation
We are an independent foundation based in the Netherlands that has been operating for nearly 60 years. We initiate and support cultural exchange and creative expression across Europe.
We share knowledge within the European cultural sector, and campaign for the arts at all levels of political decision-making. We link policy and practice to act as a catalyst for artistic and cultural expression, and to have a concrete impact on European cultural policies and strategies. We do this through our activities, grants, advocacy, publications and digital presence.
We are very happy with our choice of HR system: People Inc. Our employees can view personal information and request holidays using the Employee Self-Service module. In addition, we use the project timesheet add-on to integrate project hours and absence information. Having all this information in one database greatly simplifies reporting and HR management. Furthermore, having a system that combines an English language interface with functionality based on Dutch employment legislation and working practices (for example on leave and absence) is essential for us.
When I think about the system, I think flexibility, user friendliness and good support.
